Samaritan Strategy West Africa presents the Kumasi Vision Conference 2026, a four-day training experience designed to equip leaders, pastors and professionals in Societal Wholistic Transformation and Development.

The Kumasi Vision Conference is built around one urgent conviction: Africa does not lack resources, faith, churches, talent or opportunity. The deeper challenge is worldview, leadership, culture and transformation. Across the continent, many communities are rich in natural resources and religious activity, yet still face poverty, corruption, dependency, fear and underdevelopment. Samaritan Strategy exists to help leaders address those issues at the root.

This conference will challenge participants to think biblically, lead faithfully and act practically. It is not simply a church event. It is a training platform for leaders who want to see the gospel shape families, churches, communities, institutions and nations.

Why This Conference Matters

The conference addresses several critical questions facing the African Church and African society today:

Why is the African Church often described as a mile wide but an inch deep? Why is Africa among the richest continents in natural resources, yet many communities remain trapped in poverty? Why is the church in Africa often perceived as deeply spiritual, yet still wrestling with fear, witchcraft, demons and powers, even though Christ declared on the cross, “It is finished”? Why is sub-Saharan Africa so evangelized, yet still struggling with corruption?

These questions are not asked to criticize the Church. They are asked because the Church has a God-given responsibility to bring truth, light, stewardship, justice, compassion and transformation into every area of life. The goal is not shallow religious activity. The goal is renewed minds, transformed lives and communities that visibly reflect the kingdom of God.

Romans 12:2 provides the biblical foundation for the conference. Transformation begins with a renewed mind. Societies change when people stop conforming to broken systems, false beliefs and destructive cultural patterns, and begin living under the truth of God’s design.

Samaritan Strategy trains leaders to connect biblical truth with practical action. The gospel is not limited to Sunday worship or personal devotion. It speaks to work, family, education, governance, economics, justice, health, stewardship and community development.

Conference Training Topics

The Transformation Story

Participants will explore the biblical story of creation, fall, redemption and restoration, and how that story shapes the way leaders understand society, poverty, human dignity and development. The Transformation Story helps leaders see that God’s plan is not only to save souls, but to restore people and communities under His lordship.

The Power of Story

Stories shape culture. They form beliefs, expectations and behavior. This training will help leaders understand how stories can either keep people trapped in fatalism and dependency or awaken them to truth, responsibility and hope. Participants will learn how to use story as a tool for teaching, leadership and transformation.

ABC of Culture

Culture is shaped by assumptions, beliefs and conduct. The ABC of Culture helps participants examine the hidden ideas that influence how communities think, work, relate, govern and develop. Leaders will learn how to identify cultural patterns that need to be redeemed and how to promote values that align with biblical truth.

Kingdom Mathematics

Kingdom Mathematics focuses on stewardship, multiplication and measurable impact. God often begins with what is already in the hands of His people. When leaders faithfully steward small resources, mobilize local capacity and multiply action through others, transformation begins to spread.

The Irreducible Minimum of the Gospel

This session will help participants clarify the essential message of the gospel and its implications for everyday life. The gospel is not reduced to religious language or church attendance. It is the good news of Christ’s finished work and His authority over every area of life.

Seed Projects

Seed Projects are small, practical, locally owned acts of service that demonstrate biblical truth in visible ways. These projects help churches move from talk to action by meeting real community needs with available local resources. They are simple, practical and powerful examples of wholistic ministry.
